Another Year Older!

It was the perfect birthday celebration! It was also Mothers' Day, so there were many people being celebrated. My house was filled with family and friends, which you know makes me very happy. Miranda, my daughter-in-law, with her baby Julia; as well as my two daughters and their husbands; as well as Maeve, of course; along with my mother, brother, sister-in-law and sister; nephews, Miranda's parents and grandmother; Kathy and Larry, and Richard's parents and Auntie from England - what a wonderful time we all had. So far, May has been filled with lots of happy events. More about that in my next post. There have been a lot of cool, rainy days, but the weather is slowly warming up and everything is beautiful and green. Richard's parents and Auntie Brenda came to Jen's nearly two weeks ago, and tomorrow they will return home. We have had some fun times with them, and they have toured the Maritimes, I think they have enjoyed their visit. We certainly enjoy having them with us!

I took Maeve for her first real haircut last week. She sat right up in the chair and did everything she was told.

She seems pleased with the experience. Now we can see her beautiful face better!
