I love being a Mum and a Gramma! Relationships with loved ones are what give life meaning, especially the relationship I have with the One who gives me life! I appreciate all the beauty of nature, I love travelling to see new places, I enjoy photography, cooking, having company and cottage living in the summer. My favourite social event is a games night with family and friends.

Enjoying summer in spite of the weather!

The calendar says it's nearly the end of July, and we are still waiting for those long, hot, sunny days of summer! We are having some wonderful times, though. We moved to our Yoho cottage earlier this month, and that means we have been enjoying lots of good times with family and friends. Here are the two "mothers-in-waiting" on a beautiful day at the lake. They are feeling much better these days. Exciting times are ahead!
Jonathan, Miranda and Julia are in NB for a two-week visit, and here are some family pictures taken with them on a lovely Sunday afternoon. This is Mum with her youngest great-grand-daughter, Julia.
Here are some of the members of my family - my sister, my mother, myself, my three children, my nephew, my son-in-law and my two grand-daughters

This is the Phillips side of the family - Kevin's sister, Kevin, Julia, Kevin's Dad, and the five children of Kevin and Kathy, in the order of their birth
It was a beautiful day for boating, and the boat, which is practically an antique, was in top form!
Here I am with my son and his little sweetie, soon after they arrived from Alberta

The two cousins, Julia and Maeve, quickly became friends

This has been a typical morning view at Yoho this year. The fog and rain have a certain kind of beauty, but we can only take so much of it!

One gorgeous day, we enjoyed having a meal with Miranda's parents. It was a beautiful evening for the Dads to go for a paddle

Maeve is really enjoying the water this year. She doesn't mind the cold at all, and can spend hours playing with her toys
