Proud to live in Canada! We all waved our flags at the Tracy parade on July 1, Canada Day, then we went for cake and treats at the Rec Centre, where there was entertainment in the afternoon, a delicious supper served, and fireworks at 10:00. It was another great celebration of our wonderful country!
Fathers on Father's Day.I'm having trouble moving pictures around in this post, so things are a bit mixed up. This is a picture of Maeve on Father's Day, with her umbrella.
Wow, we are already into July, and it's been a while since I added a post, so I guess it is time to catch up! We have not yet moved to Yoho because we are waiting for that wonderful summer weather to arrive. So far, all we can do is dream about it. I heard that we have not had a full day of sun since June the 18th, so that means seventeen cloudy, dull, wet days. Every time I see a bit of blue sky I rush outdoors to soak up the sunshine! This picture was taken on Father's Day. As you can see, we didn't let a little rain stop our family barbecue.

Near the top you saw a picture of the fathers who were at our house that day. We are so thankful for them, and for the importance of good relationships between fathers and their children. It reminds me of the wonderful promise that God is our Father, and that His love is perfect - it's a relationship with Him that we can enjoy forever!
