It's a girl!!!! Josy Ann arrived on her Daddy's birthday - November 27 - and what a sweetheart she is! She weighed just over 6 pounds, a bit bigger than Maeve did at birth. Gramma and Papa are thrilled, of course, along with Mummy and Daddy and Big Sister Maeve. Here are a few of my favourite pictures taken in the last couple of days, with many more to come. I think she looks like newborn Maeve in the first picture, but the head of long black hair is a real surprise.

Now they are a family of four! Maeve is holding the pink teddy bear that she picked out as a present for Josy.

Isn't she beautiful? We all think so.Maeve spent a few days at our house while waiting for the baby to arrive, and she really kept Gramma busy - I am reminded why women have babies when they are young! Actually, I got some cupboards cleaned while Maeve was here, because she likes to help with projects like that, plus, when she sees that I am busy, (as opposed to reading or working at the computer!) she is happy to entertain herself. She is going to be Mummy's little helper, for sure.

Congratulations! I'm so envious that Adam got to meet her today. She's beautiful! And I loove the picture of she and Maeve! Such sweet girls! :)
