Another year has ended and a new one begun. Peace and Joy to everyone for 2010! To capture some of the highlights of 2009 I have begun a scrapbook, which I will get back to working on now that a quieter season has arrived. I had to add lots of pages in order to cover all the important happenings! It was quite an eventful year, with the joyous additions to our family! Josy Ann Woollin arrived on November 27, and her cousin Robin Rudi Fowler had an early arrival on December 21. I was so happy that he made his appearance before all the busy times of Christmas, so Jonathan, Miranda and Julia could meet him while he was just new-born.
Jonathan and his girls were in NB for a week, and what a full, busy, wonderful week it was! For the first few nights they were with Miranda's family, and the end of the week they spent here. It just happened that Jen's in-laws from England were at Jen's for the week, too, so our family was large indeed! We all spent as much time together as we could, allowing for little children's schedules and moods, of course. Family times are precious, for sure.
It was a white Christmas - there was lots of snow for playing in and driving through. When we went to my sister's house on a very windy night, the road hadn't even been ploughed, so that was an adventure. In fact we are having a huge snowstorm right now. It has been snowing all day and isn't supposed to stop until Monday! As long as the power doesn't go out, I love stormy weather.
As soon as I publish this post, I will post pictures of Christmas 2009 memories.
When I began my blog, I didn't know there would be so many ordinary, everyday things to share with family and friends near and far. But now I realize, that, of course, most of the treasures in life are just that - simple and everyday. Putting them down "on paper" in cyberspace makes me pause and take stock of my many blessings!
