Yes, summer has arrived. We have had two days of beautiful warm sunshine - I love it! Sadly, we found out on the weekend that people had broken into some cottages at Yoho Lake, including the two Phillips cottages. Kevin and I went yesterday to see the damage and Kevin went again today with the insurance adjuster. A window was broken and a bit of damage done at our place, and a window broken at Byron's. So, we have a bit of work to do there before we move in. We are looking forward to having the place back, since Jen and Rich, who were living at the lake last year, have bought a house of their own. I think Jen and Maeve may still spend lots of time at Yoho this summer, since Rich will be away with his work most of the time.
Today I went to the church to see how our design for pew markers works, and I did a bit of reworking and it really looks lovely. I could just imagine how the church will look with the flowers and decorations on the day of the wedding, it is going to be soooo beautiful. The invitations are almost ready to be sent! The time will come quickly, I know.
