I love being a Mum and a Gramma! Relationships with loved ones are what give life meaning, especially the relationship I have with the One who gives me life! I appreciate all the beauty of nature, I love travelling to see new places, I enjoy photography, cooking, having company and cottage living in the summer. My favourite social event is a games night with family and friends.

Busy Days

This is my little sweetie on Friday afternoon.

I know it's been a while since I posted, but with so many things to accomplish before July, it seems not a good use of time to sit and write! This will be a quickie, just to bring you up to speed.

It was another busy weekend - lovely weather too - lots to enjoy. I kept Maeve on Friday and we had a delightful day. Spent lots of time outdoors, there was a breeze to keep the bugs away.

On Saturday Kevin and I went to the lake and cleaned up a bit, but I need to do a major clean before any overnights. Maybe a day this week? or next?

On Sunday after church I worked on the slide show for Amy and Rudi's wedding. That is a fun job, and it can be very labour intensive if I want it to be, but first I need to choose and scan pictures before I do too much of the fancy stuff.

Then we went to Natalie's to see the bridesmaids' dresses. Amy was so pleased with them, and I know the finished product will be perfect. The pink is lovely on all the girls, and Jennifer's has a little something to make it different from the others. After that we went to the Big Stop for supper.

Today is my Grammie Nell's 97th birthday, so I will be going to visit her this afternoon. Suppose I will live to be 97? If I have the good genes of my grandmothers, it seems I could.I probably won't write tomorrow, so I want to wish my son the very happiest of birthdays. He will celebrate 27 years - thats' pretty old, too, isn't it? Love you, Jon!Back to work now - housework, wedding planning, plus, I am giving the sermon in church on Sunday, so, off I go!
